Unable to see Admin Page in Bamboo

I have Bamboo 6.7.1 server and I cannot access admin page anywhere. No gear icon next to profile picture.

 

Surprised, please guide us how to resolve this issue.

Hi Rajeev,

This usually happens when you don't have the admin rights with the user you are logged in. Possibly something was changed in the user repository or in global permissions.

To regain admin control on your instance and be able to fix permissions or even the user repository configuration, please:

  1. Stop Bamboo
  2. Add the following property on the JVM:
    -Datlassian.recovery.password=temporarypassword
  3. Login with:
    user: recovery_admin
    password: temporarypassword
