Unable to deploy roll back

Running Bamboo 6.8.3 on Server.

User/Developer is trying to roll back a deployment to a prior version.

When they (or I) click "Start Deployment" the following message appears in a pop up window:

An unexpected error has occurred

Please supply a planKey

Please try reloading the page.

The standard deployments work fine.  Clicking on Reload Page displays the same error. Clicking on Cancel returns to the prior screen stating "The release you specified does not exist" yet the release is still available.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Gene,

Some followup questions:

  • Does the user the user have the right permission to access the release?
  • Is this happening to all the users?
  • Are there other projects having the same issue?
  • Did you start facing this after the bamboo upgrade to 6.8.3?
  • Do you have any deployment related Bamboo plugins installed that might influence this behaviour? Please try running Bamboo in safe mode and let us know the outcome.
  • Finally, is this behaviour experienced in all the browsers? (even in private mode?)

We'll wait to hear from you.

Cheers, Jey
