@Bill Wang Bamboo YAML Specs were designed to provide configuration for simple Bamboo Plans while Bamboo Java Specs are covering every possible aspect of Bamboo Plan configuration. YAML Specs are covering only subset of Java Specs and thus conversion from YAML to Java is not possible.
would be nice if you improve the yaml specs.
First thing to have, export bamboo plans to yaml.
Second thing, maintain synchrony between the plan UI modifications and the yaml spec.

Is there an effort to continue to expand YAML spec capabilities, or is considered "feature complete". Specifically, I want to define plan dependencies, with YAML specs. Is there a possibility of that in the future?

Is there any progress on this topic, @Krystian Brazulewicz ? There is in the meantime the full coverage of bamboo specs provided in yaml.
So - is there a way to convert an existing Java Spec to yaml?
