After reading up on the latest Issue about support for PostgreSQL 11 in Jira: JRASERVER-68578 I think we might just need to try an test this on our server. As far as I understand we can operate even on newer versions than the ones that are currently supported but loose support from Atlassian if we do - so we probably just have to find our on our own.
Is there an estimate when PostgreSQL 11 will be officially supported for Bamboo?
The latest Bamboo Server version 6.10.4 with the latest supported postgres version is: PostgreSQL 10 - https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamboo/supported-platforms-289276764.html)
There is no date set yet.
FWIW, I run my local development environment on PostgreSQL 12 without any issues, so while we don't support it yet, we also don't have any reasons to believe it won't work.
Since we did not need to switch to PostgreSQL 11 we went by the supported 9.6

An issue was just created for us: BAM-20864 unfortunately for me our corporate standard mandates PostgreSQL 11 databases, getting anything earlier installed is very painful. I would _love_ to see PostgreSQL 11 (and 12?) officially supported!
