Query JIRA issues and send it in mail

In our CI we have scheduled our build plan to run daily on a particular time. As our Bamboo is integrated with JIRA, we get an Issues tab having all the issues merged for the day and available in the build. Can we query the same information and send it on mail through Bamboo?

Any clue would be appreciated.

Bamboo notifications work only for very selected scenarios and are unmodifiable and Atlassian should give capabilities to have custom notification and data.

Hi,

I understand the functionality we have today is limited to modifying templates

However, the functionality to send customized email is in "Gathering Interest" state
