Problem linking Perforce repo to Bamboo

Eric Friedman July 24, 2017

Hello all,

I'm trying to link my Perforce repo to Bamboo. Bamboo is throwing an error. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Here is the error info:

Version: 6.1.0
Build: 60103
Build Date: 18 Jul 2017

Request information:

Stack Trace:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unknown cipher data id 0
	at com.google.common.base.Preconditions.checkArgument(Preconditions.java:122)
	at com.atlassian.bamboo.crypto.instance.InstanceSecretStorage.getCipherData(InstanceSecretStorage.java:92)
	at com.atlassian.bamboo.crypto.instance.InstanceSecretStorage.getKeyAndIv(InstanceSecretStorage.java:84)
	at com.atlassian.bamboo.crypto.instance.InstanceCipherProvider.getKeyAndIv(InstanceCipherProvider.java:60)
	at com.atlassian.bamboo.crypto.instance.InstanceCipherProvider.getCipher(InstanceCipherProvider.java:46)

The stack trace is much longer, but I can't post it all.

As a note - this problem is happening after I have imported a backed-up database. Seems to possibly be a permisisons issue within the C:\ drive, but I have also tried putting the Bamboo Home directory in other places with no luck.
