Linking bamboo to Cloud Jira if bamboo doesn't have public IP

Hi,

Is it possible to generate the connection manually? All is good, but when Jira tries to automatically create reciprocal link on our Bamboo servers it fails (of course) because it can't reach a server that has only private IP.

Is there any way around that, like manually creating those links or something?

Thanks!

Hi Ivan,

I'm afraid not, the application links needs a real-time network communication to work so, it's a requirement to have Bamboo available in a public IP.

thanks

Hi Gabriel,

Thanks for the answer! That's unfortunate, but it makes sense.

I really don't want to open my bamboo to the world, but anyway, I'll figure something

out.

Thanks again!

Hi Ivan,

I understand your concerns. What you can do is to open Bamboo only to Atlassian, whitelisting in you proxy the Cloud IPs that can be found in the documentation below.

thanks
