Hi All,
Can we trigger a Bamboo build at a particular time only if the content is changed?
I cannot schedule all the jobs as there are hundreds of services which cannot be triggered daily. Services cannot be deployed everytime the content is changed because the environment is a controlled environment. Hence, looking for a way to deploy the applications at a particular time only if the content is changed. Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Create a special plan or a cron job in a machine that will perform the following REST call:
curl -u bamboo_admin:password -X POST http://bambooURL:8085/rest/triggers/1.0/remote/changeDetection?planKey=PLAN-KEY&skipBranches=false
Configure Remote Trigger in the target plan.
This remote trigger will trigger the target plan if there is any new commit in the repository.
