Installing Bamboo on a windows machine.

I have been through the installation procedure and now I am at a point where it is asking me to Set up an Administrator! No matter what I do the username field always comes back with an error of

'Invalid username. Username mustn't be blank, have trailing or leading space and must have no more length than 255 characters.'

So leaving aside the grammatical error in the statement, the issue I am having is that no matter if I have spaces or no spaces in the username I always get this error. It is frustrating and annoying that I cannot complete the installation. Has anyone encountered this and what is the solution?

Hi @Sohail Haque,

What version of Bamboo and Windows are you using?

You can try restarting the Bamboo service and see if that helps.
