How to stop HTTP rest request when using SSL with Oauth

Ian Carson July 17, 2017

I have been trying to connect Bamboo to Bitbucket without much success. I have done a bunch of research onto the issue and think I have located the problem.

The OAuth is trying to connect through HTTP but both services are configured with SSL enabled and enforced.

My Bitbucket has no problem connecting to JIRA which is hosted by Attlasian.

Each oauth execution is done under http which causes the apache server to flag a 301 redirect killing the oauth verification. I don't know where the configuration should be to disable this from happening. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Ian,

Is the application link between Bamboo and Bitbucket Server configured using HTTP or HTTPS? If it's HTTP, delete the application link and re-create it using HTTPS.

Cheers,
