I'm looking to have a nightly build of a number of plan branches for security scanning. My hope is to use one plan and have some tasks execute conditionally based on when/how the build triggers.
I don't see a triggerReason variable and only see ${bamboo.ManualBuildTriggerReason.userName} variable, but that will only differentiate building manual from a change trigger.
I'd appreciate anyone sharing insight on how to get this done.
You can use Conditional Tasks plugin and add condition to your tasks.
If it's scheduled trigger there's bamboo.ScheduledTriggerReason.scheduledDate variable is available for condition
If it's manual trigger there's bamboo.ManualBuildTriggerReason.userName
