How to add Jira Issue to Pamboo Plan Build results using REST API

Hi Team

I am wondering if anyone was able to add Jira issue reference to Bamboo Plan Build results.

I found a lot of posts how to kick off build itself but can't figure out if I can add Issue to build itself.
