How do I get the atlassian bamboo changelog

Hello there,

I am interested in getting a newsletter providing information about new bamboo versions.
So everytime there is a new (minor) version with a changelog, I would be glad to receive an e-mail.
But I can't find a checkbox oder link where I can register for the newsletter.

Is there a way to solve my problem?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

Andreas Herold

I'm afraid something like this is not available out of the box anymore, after Atlassian opted to remove the watch page feature from the published version of the Confluence Bamboo releases, which now states:

You can get automated notifications about major Bamboo releases by subscribing to the Atlassian blog.

Unfortunately that's neither always the case nor a particularly timely channel (often the blog posts trail the release by a week or so), and it doesn't cover minor versions in the first place.

That being said, you can leverage your favorite RSS reader to subscribe to the RSS feeds listed under Generally available releases on the EAP page, i.e. Bamboo.rss.

If consuming RSS yourself is not your thing, there are various options to subscribe to it via other channels like chat programs (e.g. RSS for HipChat or Slack's RSS app) or 'If this than that' solutions (e.g. IFTTT's RSS Feed) and get a notification on your mobile in turn.

The hint with the rss feed is really good. I think I will use that.

Thank you a lot
