Creating .PKG unix package from ant build in bamboo

Randy Francisco September 22, 2015

Hi I need your help. I have a java project and i build it in bamboo using ANT since my project is not migrated in maven.  After building the package bamboo gave me a war as a build result But i need a .pkg file so my script will install it in UNIX  server. would you be able to advice me on how i can create a .pkg file as a final build result in bamboo instead of war?

I believe that it should be managed in your ant file. Bamboo wouldnt have much role to play in creating a file of a specific type. All we can do from a bamboo is to display/share artifacts that are getting created(build.xml file would be doing that in this scenario)

Hello,

I agree with Nirmal, I believe that should be done by ant. Maybe this link might be useful:
