Connect internally hosted bamboo cloud hosted Jira

Hello,

We have a self hosted bamboo implementation (version  6.4.0) behind a firewall and would like to connect it our Jira cloud setup.

Which protocols does this use and which ports do we need to open in order for Jira to see Bamboo?

Hello Paul,

what you need for your setup is:

• Your stand-alone installation of Bamboo
• Setup an Application link from Jira Cloud to Bamboo - it's described here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bamkb/linking-jira-cloud-with-self-hosted-bamboo-389284242.html
• Your firewall needs to additionally open port 80 or port 443 for SSL - the protocol used for Application links is HTTP or HTTPS
