Clone using http instead of ssh using Bitbucket Server / Stash as repository type

Paul Moors October 9, 2024

When adding a new repository to a buildplan, you select Bitbucket Server / Stash as repository host. This results is a repository where the location is pointing to (for example) ssh://git@company:7999/project/repo-001.git.

Is it possible to use the same repository type (Bitbucket Server / Stash) where the location is pointing to http://company/scm/project/repo-001.git?

When you add the same repository with repository type Git the builds are not visible in bitbucket

Hi Paul,

Welcome to Atlassian community.

You can only see the build status and other automated actions like auto trigger when you are adding the repository as Bitbucket Server / Stash, if you are adding the repo as the direct git path and as git type under linked repositories build status won't show in Bitbucket server.

You can only add those repositories which are showing under the dropdown when you choose Bitbucket Server / Stash, this data will come automatically via the application link between Bamboo and Bitbucket and will list all the repositories available in Bitbucket.

Regards,

Shashank Kumar
