Client was not found on the perforce server.

I'm trying to evaluate Bamboo. When I attempt to create my first plan, I put in our p4 server, my login credentials, and the workspace name listed from my 'p4 client':

Client: my-workspace

However, I'm continuously getting this error:

Client was not found on the perforce server

I don't know what to try to fix this. I've tried several workspaces that I regularly use.
