Checking code with bamboo


I need to automate finding some pattern in code after i did new commit in Bitbucket. Can I use bamboo for it and how i can use it?

Hi Nikita, Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes you can use Bamoo for that. Here are the highlevel steps:

First create a new Bamboo build plan and add the following tasks:

  1. Source code checkout
    This will fetch the code from Bitbucket
  2. Script task
    Can be Windows Powershell or Linux shell depending on your environment
    In this script task you can execute the search for the code pattern your looking for

You can also set a trigger on the build plan so it executes automatically on every commit.
