Cannot add a group in Bamboo under Project Permissions group access section

Amrik Birdi December 17, 2021

Hello,

I have created a group in Jira called idxx-devs.

In my Bamboo (server version is 8.0.1)  project I go Project Permissions and under the 'Group access' section I successfully enter my group name of idxx-devs but when I select the Admins permissions I get an unexpected error message:

"When granting "ADMINISTRATION" permission the following permissions must also be granted: "CREATEREPOSITORY"

Please try reloading the page."

But yet I can successfully select permissions of View & Create.

My current workaround is adding users indivudually.

Can anyone help?

kind regards

Amrik

It's known issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-21466

There're few options to address this issue:

* use Data Center license

* upgrade to 8.0.5

Thanks for the update. I think an upgrade of Bamboo to a newer version will have to be done
