Hello!
I'm trying to upgrade Bamboo server from 6.5 to 8.2.5. But during the upgrade getting below error.
I'm using 8.2.5 64-bit installer.
Windows server 2022 standard.
All the directories have the right permissions. Any idea why?
Thanks in advance!
Hello @Gihan Sundarapperuma
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
According to the Bamboo Upgrade guide:
To upgrade Bamboo, you must install a new Bamboo instance in a
<bamboo-install>
directory that is different from the<bamboo-install>
directory of the original Bamboo instance.
Restore your previous snapshot and start over again by installing Bamboo 8.2.5 on a different location maintaining the common <bamboo-home>. After Bamboo is up and running you can then uninstall the old binaries.
Thank you,
Eduardo Alvarenga
