Can I extend the length of the bamboo variable?

Currently, bamboo only allows for a variable length of 4,000. Can we extend that?

Which version of Bamboo are you using? This issue was fixed in 7.2.0 and 7.1.2 as per BAM-21059

Even after using Bamboo version 8.1.1, I continue to receive this error. I have attached a screenshot of the error.
