Can I create/clone a Bamboo build plan using the REST API?

I need to create/clone build plans using the REST API. I want to define a build plan "template" then have dev teams be able to auto-create a plan for their project on demand. Do you have any examples or suggestions on how best to do this?

E.g. http://bambooci.cgelsie.com:8080/rest/api/latest/clone/BT-PFSJAD:BT-NewPlan

Not possible, sorry. We are working on a REST API that will let you do it though.
