Can Bamboo to be used as a Continuous Integration server for Go projects?

We are currently running Bamboo 6.7.1 and utilize a Go Plugin for Bamboo (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213398/go-plugin-for-bamboo/version-history).  In the marketplace the Go Plugin says it is only compatible up to Bamboo 6.9.2.  There is a significant amount of our code written in Go.  My question is does Bamboo 7.x have that built into it or is a plugin still needed for that functionality?

The only item I have been able to find in the Atlassian Community is this post from 2014: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bamboo-questions/can-bamboo-test-projects-written-in-golang/qaq-p/452267.
