Branch detection with Subversion together with selective checkout

Rene Wittmann November 23, 2022

My SVN repositories have the following format:

my.url.com/svn/project1/trunk/

my.url.com/svn/project1/branches/branch1/

my.url.com/svn/project1/branches/branch2/

my.url.com/svn/project1/tags/tag1/

my.url.com/svn/project1/tags/tag2/

...

my.url.com/svn/project2/trunk/

...

The data size in each of the repos is quite big (> 50 GB), so I normally checkout just the folders that are necessary for the build.

So my repo config looks like that

If I do not care about the branch detection feature of Bamboo, this works as expected.

But if I want to create another branch for the plan, Bamboo fails to provide the list of other branches.

I have to manually create the plan branch, pointing to the specific subfolder:

Is there a way to have the dropdown list with all branches and tags, and still checkout only a subfolder?
