Bamboo server installation with configuration management

I am automating the install and configuration of a bamboo server using an external MySQL database with ansible configuration management. I would like to add the database connection and license info into source control, but it isn’t clear if these setting can be programmatically set in the bamboo.cfg.xml during server provisioning or always require a first initial setup via the web UI. Has anyone else accomplished this? If so, could you provide an example?
