Just installed Bamboo on a server and Bitbucket on another server. In English this is what I would like Bamboo to do, please tell me if my expectations are wrong:
- Get latest source from Bitbucket.
- Use Visual Studio to build the solution.
- Use Visual Studio to publish the solution to deployment folder.
- Backup the folders on the target server.
- Copy the published solution to target server.
In some situations there is a steps
4.5) Stop IIS
6. ReStart IIS
I've seen a couple examples but have yet to figure out how to accomplish any of these tasks. Thanks
Follow up, I was able to get BB to compile with Visual studio but still do not know how to get BB to do the rest of the steps.
