Bamboo on cloud

Does bamboo have cloud version ?

1 answer

There used to be a Bamboo Cloud version, but unfortunately Atlassian has decided to discontinue it as of January 31, 2017- the former Bamboo Cloud EOL announcement is nowhere to be found anymore, but you can find some details in the Bamboo Cloud end of life? thread.

The TL;DR is that Atlassian meanwhile recommends Bitbucket Pipelines as a more lightweight alternative for Cloud users, the feature gap between the two offerings notwithstanding (to be fair, Pipelines has evolved nicely since and some of the gaps discussed in that thread are meanwhile addressed).

Is there any nice documentation on BitBucket Pipelines ?

@Abhineet Tikoo - You can find a quick start and 'Everything you need to know about Bitbucket Pipelines in action' within the Build, test, and deploy with Pipelines documentation, including build and test guides for various languages, and deployment guides for  various cloud providers and Docker images.
