Bamboo Specs: No edit permissions environment

When creating a bamboo specs plan it is not possible to edit this plan in the ui, only by changing the bamboo specs repository.

But if I add a deployment project to it, it is possible to edit the environment directly in the ui. I expected it should work the same as the build plan, the only way to edit an environment plan should be by changing the bamboo specs repository.

How can I achieve this?
