REST API Reference - https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-bamboo/REST/6.2.5/#d2e2752
I tried to find the API to delete a release. I am trying to delete a release which I do normally from the UI as shown in below pic, instead I would like to achieve the same using some end point.
Hello @Vetrivel,
I am afraid there is no API available for deleting a release. Instead, you could call the action behind the "Delete release" action in screenshot provided:
# replace {username}
# replace {versionId}, e.g 1245185
# replace http://localhost:8085 with URL to access Bamboo
curl -k -u {username} \
-H 'X-Atlassian-Token: no-check' \
-H 'Accept: application/json' \
-H 'Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded' \
-d 'confirm=true&bamboo.successReturnMode=json&versionId={versionId}' \
-X POST 'http://localhost:8085/deploy/deleteDeploymentVersion.action'
Kind regards,
Rafael
