Well, I was able to do it through a round about way. Found the list of every release that happened between the two, find, the builds associated with each release, and ran through a loop getting the commits for each of them.

Hi Karthik,

I need to do something similar to what you trying to do above.  I want to be able to generate a change report (for multiple components) based on the version (release) of a component in Test vs the version (release) of the same component in Production.

So far, I have been able to use the Bamboo APIs to get the version numbers (release) deployed to Test, and the version number (release) deployed to Production.  But, I need a way of being able to "find the builds associated with each release".  Based on what you have stated above, you have solved this piece?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Simon.

Hi @Karthik Anand Kumar,

At this time, the functionality you're requesting is not yet possible in Bamboo. We do have an open request for this, and you can track here:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-14948

Feel free to vote for the issue, add it to your watch list in order to be notified on its progress, and leave a comment there describing your use-case the more detailed the possible. This will help our development team to build a solution that meets better your needs.

If you want to know more about how we prioritise feature requests, take a look at our policy.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,
Felipe Kraemer
