Anyone know how to stop BambooSpec Scanning?

Edited

Got all the build plans and deployment projects output to bambooSpec in java. They are located in a toplevel folder of the BitBucket (Git) Server repository named bamboo-spec. So after a successful build  and commit of the java code in the repo I turned on the scan function of BambooSpecs.   The UI showed it was scanning with a spinning wheel.  That was 2 months ago and it's still spinning. Shut off scanning of BambooSpecs and restarted - now have two spinning wheels - ie scans running for last month.

Does anyone know what process is running these? any way to stop these scans? anyway to get the BambooSpec feature to work?  Has anyone actually got the BambooSpec feature to work with java code?

Thanks in advance for your time.
