Hi Team, so we are using Yaml and Json loader plugin but it is not supported by 8.1.3 and we are planning to update bamboo version. Not sure how to find if this plugin is used by any of our plans or not? or we have any substitution of this plugin which works similarly like this.
In case this app actually ceases to be compatible with any future Bamboo releases (as Eduardo pointed out, it likely just hasn't been updated in the Marketplace, even though it might still be compatible), you could also try to address the issue yourself by forking and updating the source:
Please note though that the source code lacks a proper license, which means anything but inhouse usage and esp. public distribution might be illegal before clarifying the license situation with the app's author and owner David Ehringer.
Hello @Vaibhav Dingreja
The YAML and JSON variables loader app does not look to be supported by the developer any longer. There haven't been any updates to it since Jan 14th 2017 when the first and only version was released. It could be that the app developer has checked compatibility each time and found it to be compatible without any changes. Given that it hasn't received an update in years and is still working, there's a chance it will continue to be working in Bamboo 8, however, we would encourage you to test its functionality during a UAT/test upgrade of Bamboo if you are heavily reliant on it before proceeding with an upgrade.
You will have to download the app and install it manually:

Hi Eduardo,
The plugin shows incompatible when i checked it through bamboo upgrade check, so is there any alternative of this plugin?

I'm not aware of any alternatives. The upgrade check utility will do basically what you did visually, but won't prevent you from installing the app if you try the manual method.
