Agent-Server Communication Issues

Tim Coulson January 12, 2015

Hi,

On Bamboo 5.7.2 we're experiencing issues with agents talking back to the server. Agents are being spawned and some are already running jobs, but they are not being registered by the server. We're receiving lots of JMS/AMQP related errors like the following:

[ActiveMQ Session Task-2324] [JmsServiceExporterMessageListener:296] Failed to process inbound message due to: javax.jms.InvalidDestinationException: Cannot publish to a deleted Destination: temp-queue://ID:cz3212c1ey.euhpc.arm.com-34634-1421142806489-1:1:6

Once these errors begin occurring, we've been required to restart as no jobs will run and running jobs will not update their build logs.

Furthermore, these errors seem to begin occurring when the build queue is very busy.

What is causing this and how can we debug it?

Regards,

Tim

Hello Tim,

Thank you for your question.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that client sends a request to the server and while the server is working with that request, client stops (possibly due to excessive amount of packages) before the server finishes.

I would kindly ask you to review Troubleshooting Remote Agents documentation for further information.

If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.

Thank you for your understanding.
