Dear all,

JIRA Server v7.13.3

Automation 7.2.2 (latest Version)

Dear all, one of the last updates for Automation for JIRA reintroduced the possibility to use a value change for the field "Epic Link" as a trigger issue.

However, it just does not work on our instance.

Does anybody face the same problem? Any solutions? Any work-arounds?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Lukas

Hi @Lukas Kasten

Epic Link does not work as a field change trigger for cloud automation yet (AUT-1264), so I am surprised to hear it is now implemented for Server.  If you have a documentation source that says it should work, I recommend asking your site admin to submit that as a support ticket to Atlassian:

Hi @Lukas Kasten

I've just tested it using Automation 7.2 and Jira Software 8.8, it seems to be working.

So, you are not able to trigger it? Did you use some limitation for issue operation? What do you need to do after epic link change?
