We currently use Data Center, and get a lot of value from applying the Table macros (Table Filter, Table Transformer, Pivot Table, etc.) to Requirement Yogi data from RY Report macros.

On the cloud, RY Report will not be available. We tried wrapping Table Transformer around an RY traceability matrix, and Table Transformer didn't recognize it as a table. Table Transformer's support said this is a problem with how Confluence Cloud uses iframes.

Has anyone else faced (and fixed!) this issue?

Hi @Goode, Steven ,

I believe this is a known limitation in Cloud. The issue arises because Confluence Cloud isolates third-party macros (like Table Filter) inside iframes for security reasons. This isolation prevents these macros from accessing or transforming the content generated by other macros, such as the Requirement Yogi (RY) traceability matrix, if it is not rendered as a native table.

I don't think there's any workaround at the moment on which you can rely 😕

Also, here are some links that might be helpful:

I couldn't find any feature requests/suggestions related to this 👀
Not sure if you could Forge a custom solution for this... Maybe folks in Developer Community could help more here.

Cheers,
Tobi
