Over the years, you’ve told us that you need an easier way to move users and projects between cloud sites.
Today, we’re excited to announce the beta launch of cloud-to-cloud migration for Jira! This feature will enable consolidation within Jira that wasn’t possible before. It will also allow teams at different organizations or within the same organization to collaborate more easily. This feature will give Atlassian admins more control over how their Jira Cloud sites are set up and is available now on all Jira Cloud sites.
To access the cloud-to-cloud migration feature:
Note: You need to be an organization admin or a site admin to access the feature and perform a cloud-to-cloud migration. We'll be rolling this out gradually to customers, so the feature may not appear for a few days, or longer if you have Release Tracks enabled. |
Cloud-to-cloud migration for Jira helps you move users and Jira Software and Jira Work Management projects from one cloud site to another. You can perform a cloud-to-cloud migration when you want to:
combine data across two or more cloud sites
split a cloud site into multiple cloud sites
duplicate a cloud site
copy specific projects from one cloud site to another
