Hi there! I’m Alli Shea, the Product Manager for Confluence Search.

Atlassian Intelligence answers in Confluence is an OpenAI-powered tool to answer your questions directly in the Confluence search bar! No more digging through Confluence – this feature understands questions you would ask a teammate and answers them instantly based on the latest information in Confluence. We’re building fast, and are excited to share the beta version of the feature with you over the coming months.

As we continue to build out the product, evolve its design, and optimize the user experience, we need your input! With that in mind, this space is the place to ask questions, share thoughts/feelings/feedback and discuss the new functionality with myself and the product team. Whatever you have to say - we want to hear it.

While this group will be used to discuss a variety of Atlassian Intelligence features as they become available, posts from myself will be focused on this feature specifically. If you try out answers in Confluence Search, keep an eye out for posts from me and updates from the team soon.

Even though we have enabled the Atlassian intelligence on our confluence instance, I only see the /ai context menu features (summary, action items, brainstorm etc.). The search bar summary feature mentioned here not seem to be working for us. Do we need to enable any additional settings to enable the new AI feature into search as well?

We're rolling the feature out to more people over the next few days, so it may not have made its way to your organization just yet.

Great and exciting features team and thank you for adding our instance to Confluence editor AI. We are already seeing the benefits for our use cases. Please consider adding us in for the answers for confluence beta

@Alli Shea Any chance we can get Confluence added to Atlassian Intelligence for my account? I already have JSM and Jira Software enabled and would like to so what the overall experience would look like. Thanks!

@Alli Shea I do not see Confluence listed in Access when turning on Intelligence, should I?

@Alli Shea  While we have AI in the search (great by the way) and also AI in edit mode I do not yet see it in reading mode like in the demo, any idea when we will see that?

Hi all! 

My name's Izzy and I've recently taken over for Alli as the PM for this smart answers feature.

We've recently rolled this feature out to Open Beta, which means that you should have access smart answers automatically once your organisation admin enables AI for Confluence.

All Confluence customers will have the ability to enable AI via. AdminHub during open beta (organisation admins will need to be the ones who enable AI).
