AI Answer Confluence limited characters?

Hi guys,

I've been testing this today and I've noticed that the AI answer I'm getting is cutting off a lot go the time. It's like there's a character limit but it varies. It ranges between 500 and 600 characters.

Is there a limit? If so is there any way to increase it?

Hey @Tony Browne out of curiosity, which AI feature in Confluence are you referring to here? Is it AI in the Confluence Editor, or AI in Confluence search?

We currently have this limit set to ~140 tokens.

Would you be able to share some screenshots of this behaviour occurring where the expected answer is getting cut off? This will help us to understand and hopefully address the issue.

Hey Izzy,

Below is a random search. As you can see it cuts off at 5... This happens on a lot of the searches. There's no box to expand so I don't believe it's a box extension issue.
