Possible to report on project roles in Atlassian Analytics?

Is it possible to create a chart using project roles? Looking to display a list of all projects and the project admins. I couldn't find anything related to project roles but maybe I overlooked it?

Unfortunately, at this time data regarding user project roles in Jira is not yet available in the Atlassian Data Lake. We do have an existing feature request where our product team is tracking interest in having this data surfaced here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-65

Roles are project specific.

This makes it challenging to visualize the overal role usage across all projects in your organisation, and can result in confusion when the same role name is used in multiple projects but in different ways and with different users or groups associated.

If you are open to using apps you can try Roles Dashboard for Jira an app recently released by our company.

You can search for all projects and roles or you can narrow down to only specific project(s) and role(s). 

You will be presented with two perspectives to the Role - Project relationship.

1. Project - Role - User Relationship

2. User - Role - Project Relationship

You will be able to depict where the users are directly added to the Role or via one or more Groups. 

Since you mentioned you need to create charts, the Export to CSV feature will help you exporting the data in csv format, and later using Excel or another tool of your choice you can create charts or do more analysis.

So if you only want to search for Administrators role role you can add that to the Roles filter field. Both the Projects and Roles filter fields are supporting multiple values.
