Is anyone doing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and using Program Increments (PIs)

Eric Jacobson October 1, 2024

I want my Atlassian Analytics charts to filter by PI. Example: if there are 6 sprints in the 2024 PI #1, I would like to see my data grouped by that PI. I'm thinking I need to somehow add a new table to my Atlassian Analytics data lake, and have it be a bridge table, mapping PIs to sprints. But Jira does not use the PI construct, so I will need to somehow populate that data outside Jira, I guess.

Again, is anyone else an Agile SAFe shop?

Hi @Eric Jacobson

Since this type of data is not available out-of-the-box in the Atlassian Data Lake, you would need to create a custom table in your schema that groups your Jira sprints into program increments. Alternatively, you can try populating this data into one of Analytics supported third-party data sources, such as a Google Sheet, and then connect the data in Analytics in this manner.
