Hi, community!
Several weeks ago, we shared that we were working on two new tables. We’re happy to announce that they're now available!
Issue group mapping is now available in Atlassian Analytics.
Atlassian_group is now available in data shares.
“Issue group mapping” is a flattened table that maps each issue ID to all the group IDs. These group IDs come from “Group picker (single group)” and “Group picker (multiple groups)” custom fields in the “Issue field” table. You can find this new table under “Jira family of products.”
With this new mapping table, you can use a single visual mode query in Visual SQL to get information on groups and issues.
“Atlassian_group” maps group IDs and group names. People who use data shares can now join the “Jira issue field” table directly with “Atlassian group” table using the “Group ID” column. This table has already been available in Atlassian Analytics.
To get the “Issue group mapping” table in Atlassian Analytics, an organization admin needs to edit the Data Lake connection. If the Data Lake connection already includes Jira data, the organization admin can edit the connection and save it without making any changes. More about editing Data Lake connections.
The “Atlassian_group” table is automatically available for new and existing data shares.
