Data Lake updates

Faster query performance for 4 Jira tables

To address performance concerns, we will be introducing efficiency changes to four commonly queried Jira tables: jira_issue, jira_issue_cycle_time, jira_issue_status_history, and jira_project. With this change, it will now take 3-6 hours for data to refresh in these tables. Read more in the announcement.

Issue hierarchy data

We’ve finished the rollout to include more parent data in the “Parent” field of the Data Lake! You’ll now be able to see hierarchies higher than epics when you query data for this field. Read our post for more details about the issue hierarchy improvements.

Date format update in Assets column

The format for date values in the “Assets object attribute” table’s “Attribute value string” column was previously not in the standard date format. We’ve changed the format of these dates to ISO date so you can now easily parse the data using SQLite.

Breaking change to Opsgenie team ID

The format for values in the “Team ID” column in several Opsgenie tables was recently changed. If you have any charts or dashboards that refer to specific values from this column, you’ll need to edit them to use the updated values. Read our post for more details about this change.

New columns

  • Jira Service Management “Service” table - “Opsgenie owner team” column

  • Opsgenie “Account settings” table - “Time zone” and “Is blocked” columns

  • Opsgenie “Alert” table - “Source” column

  • Opsgenie “Notification” table - “Destination” column

👀 Coming soon

“Parent issue ID” column

We’re almost ready to release the new “Parent issue ID” column in the “Issue” table under “Jira family of products”. Stay tuned for our announcement within the next couple of weeks!
