This month we've rolled out a new home page, added the query log feature, and made improvements to Visual SQL to enhance the chart building process. Read on to find out more!
The Atlassian Analytics home page is getting a fresh new look! We’ve updated the list view, card view, and filters for the dashboard list to be more accessible and to make it faster for you to find the dashboards you’re looking for. Check out the full announcement.
Curious about how fast your queries are running? You can now view the query log for your data source in Atlassian Analytics by selecting the Query log tab in a data source’s settings. You can also monitor an individual chart’s performance over time by selecting Review performance from its More actions menu.
We’ve improved how selected columns appear in visual mode queries. To make it easier to select the aggregation type for each column, the aggregation menu has updated styling and now appears to the right of the column name.
Helper text appears when you select a chart type that isn’t compatible with your current data format. We’ve created more dynamic and comprehensive helper text to give you a better understanding of the required data formats for each chart type.
Many of our chart error messages were also rewritten to be clearer, with better recommendations for how to resolve those errors.
In case you missed the announcement, Confluence data are coming to the Atlassian Data Lake! If you have Confluence and want to opt into the early access by actively providing feedback to our Confluence Insights PM, comment in the linked post.
