In case you missed it, Atlassian Analytics was announced earlier this month at the Team '22 conference! This blog post introduces the Atlassian Data Lake and Atlassian Analytics. Thanks for being a part of the EAP and helping us shape the release of this new offering.
Our teams have been busy making some amazing updates based on your feedback thus far during our early access program! We’ve deployed over 230 improvements (mostly minor) in the last two months and wanted to highlight some of the larger changes in this update. Thank you for all of your feedback!
You’ve all provided great feedback on our starter dashboards! We’re determined to make these dashboards as valuable as possible, so we’re introducing some improvements.
Created two new dashboards
Jira Software - Simple Project Overview
Jira Software - Issues Overview
Published starter dashboard documentation
Added project keys to the “Dropdown” controls labeled “Project name”
Added “Top 5” limits to various charts for better readability and performance
Added links to dashboard documentation on all starter dashboards
Changed “Issue Number” to “Issue Key” in the bottom table chart of “Jira Software - Overview”
Added custom SLAs to the “Dropdown” controls labeled “SLA name”
To get the improved starter dashboards, create a new data source connection to the Atlassian Data Lake. We cannot push these changes to the existing starter dashboards in your workspace.
Primary keys have been added to most tables making getting a “count” of rows easier
Foreign keys have been improved to allow easier use of Visual SQL
Visual SQL now allows you to change the data source for queries
Many accessibility improvements
Unnecessary white space removed from the bottom of dashboards
Manage users link to AdminHub is now redirecting to a better location
Improved date formatting for non-day date buckets
Improved chart tool-tips when showing dates
Clicking on title of dashboard from the dashboard list now links to the dashboard
Pie chart tool-tips now show the category color
Fix how filters on array type columns & auto-complete work with dashboard controls
