I've been trying to change my email address in my Atlassian account. However, I don't receive any verification email on the new email address.

I believe you followed the steps mentioned here.
If you don't get verification email, please check your spam folder and be sure that emails coming from Atlassian are not somehow filtered. If problem still persists, you contact Atlassian support via https://support.atlassian.com/.
