Can we decline the "upgrade" to Atlassian Accounts?

Is there any way to prevent the conversion to Atlassian Accounts?

Our organization is still in the process of getting used to using JIRA - it has by no means been accepted yet, and I really don't want to rock the boat.    We don't use any other Atlassian products, and don't expect to, so SSO has no value to us.   I'm also not sure if this conversion would affect our GitHub integration?   I've been told that users have to have the same login between JIRA and GitHub for the integration to work properly.

Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

I had a similar issue and opened a ticket with Atlassian. If you go to user management as admin, you should see a section on the left nav called "Atlassian Accounts" under Authentication. You can disable it there, but it will eventually be pushed out and forced on everyone.
