Pulling Atlas project overview status into Confluence database

Hi there. We're really enjoying using Atlas and the database feature in Confluence, however I'm trying to pull the Project Overview Status into a column which will enable our team to sort by Red Status projects. I've linked the column to the appropriate Jira project where each Epic is linked to it's associated Atlas project. Status updates are coming in, however the column remains blank. Any ideas?

Hi @Matt Coker -- I just played with this in my system. It seems the 'Project overview status' field will only display in the Confluence database if you select to sync details between Atlas and Jira.  For Atlas projects that are linked to the Jira issue but not synced, the 'Project overview status' will not display.

Confluence database:

Atlas project that is only linked. (not synced)

Thank you @Aaron Morris ! This may be a silly question but do you know how I can sync?

@Matt Coker -- Not a silly question. :-)

To sync from Jira:

  1. Open the issue and find the Project overview pane.
  2. If the issue is already linked to an Atlas project, expand the ellipses menu and select Keep details in sync.

Or, to sync from Atlas:

  1. Open the project in Atlas.
  2. Select to edit the Jira link in the "Where is work tracked?" field.
  3. Press Sync with Jira.

At least, that's how it works in my system. You might see something different. I suspect Atlassian has slightly different features deployed to different sites as they roll out the updated integration.

This is a great idea.  We have been creating Atlas views and then published those views in confluence pages for greater visibility.
