How do I remove this from Epics

AAlbero June 21, 2023

This new "feature" is now showing in our Epics

This was not asked for, and is causing confusion as nobody was trained on that, and honestly I just hate this practice from Atlassian of pushing garbage into our workflow.

We do not want Atlas.

How do we remove this?

Hi @AAlbero , I have not played with Atlas for a long time. Could you share exactly what you mean by "...is now showing in our epics"?

There is Atlas "Linked goals" button in the Epics, maybe that is what AAlbero is talking about.
I personally think it would be nice to have an option to turn it off. It takes time when Atlas is good enough.

Hi @AAlbero

You can go to /plugins/servlet/ac/com.atlassian.atlas.jira/addon-config-page of your instance to de-activate the Atlas to Jira Cloud integration. Strangely, there's no entry for it in the Apps menu.

Cheers.

Julien.

Hey @AAlbero , if you are the admin, you can just hit that cog icon on the Atlas panel and you can toggle the app off. It will disappear from your Jira view.

Are you referring to the Status Update panel on epics or the Linked Goals button?

Hi @Rachel Lin , I must be missing something as I do not see a means of disabling it under the Atlas cog. Maybe a Free plan limitation?

It should be displayed on the panel, if you click on Linked Goals from the screenshot in this thread above. It’d be in the bottom right and should take you to the config page. I believe this is the same page that Julien has directly linked above.

Thanks Rachel. I finally was able to locate the enable/disable toggle. The issue was that while Atlas was showing in my product switcher it really wasn't fully installed. I had to go through quite a number of clicks that were rather confusing but once the installation was complete I was able to click on Linked goals and find the Atlas cog.
