💻 How to combat task loneliness in software engineering teams with the Uber stream

We're to share this new thought leadership article from our very own @Alex Gisby who is a Principal Developer on Atlas.

Alex hosted an incredible TEAM '23 talk all about combatting task loneliness in software engineering streams, by adopting a new team setup called the Uber stream.

He deep dives into:

  • What task loneliness is, and how it impacts high-performing teams
  • How the Atlas team used the Uber stream way of working, to build the Atlas product
  • Key communication rituals the team implemented - from day-to-day check-ins, to a bigger "vibe check" to celebrate and course correct
