This post is here to welcome new members, give you a quick overview of what the group is all about, and introduce the group moderators so you know who you’re interacting with here.
With the acquisition of AirTrack, a leader in IT data quality management technology, we are taking a significant step in our mission to enable more comprehensive asset management practices. Ensuring that the data that enriches service management practices is complete, current, and correct is a complex yet absolutely critical task to help our customers derive maximum value from their investments in Jira Service Management. And we know that you cannot wait to get your hands on this tool.
We intend this group to be your insight into Assets Data Manager and related information as we approach General Availability in mid-2024. We will share overviews of its capabilities, insights into future functionality, and treat this as a forum to interact with you, our customers, early and frequently to shape the solution you need.
To allow us to engage with you directly, we have made this a private group to start with, although we might consider opening this up in the future.
There’s a team of us at Atlassian who will jump in here to answer your questions, start discussions, and listen to your feedback. Here are a few of the key people you’ll come across:
@Kate Archbold - Senior Product Designer on Jira Service Management, Assets who is our CX superhero.
@Karyn Findlay - Product Manager on Jira Service Management, Assets who joined us with the AirTrack acquisition and knows the tool inside and out.
@Hun Chan - Support Engineer on Jira Service Management, Assets. Like Karyn, Hun joined us with the AirTrack acquisition and has been supporting the product since its inception.
@Dorothea Linneweber (myself) - Product Manager on Jira Service Management, Assets who can’t wait to tell you all about the amazing capabilities Data Manager brings into the mix.
There might also be other teammates from design, engineering, and other crafts joining the group who will introduce themselves when the time comes.
That’s a little bit about this group and the people running it. Now it’s your turn!
Your input and feedback will help us make this a valuable space. Add a comment below to say hi and share why you joined the group.
